5 Reasons Why Sale for Sale is BAD

Sale for Sale is not profit. 

It's a completely ineffective way to bring sales and traffic to your business.

 

Here's an Example of ineffective purchase for purchase schemes & why it's ineffective:

These posts usually go something like...

"Let's support each other today. Purchase from the person above you and then drop your link. Maybe you'll get a sale."

 

#1 The author of the post (if someone comments and follows the rules) is guaranteed a sale without having to contribute any funds. Finesse.

 

#2 If Jade spends $20 in Pam's Store and Taylor spends $15 in Jade's store. Jade is now at a loss of $5. Jade gained nothing.

 

#3 If Jade spends $10 in Pam's Store and no one comments after Jade. Jade has now loss $10. Jade gained nothing. 

 

#4 If Jade spends $10 in Pam's Store and Taylor comments after Jade, but decides not to follow the rules... Jade has now loss $10. Jade gained nothing.

 

#5 If Jade spends $10 in Pam's Store and Taylor spends $10 in Jade's store. Jade gained nothing. 

 

The author is making this post to be the one "guaranteed a sale." 

 

The people under the author are only purchasing in hopes that someone will purchase from them as well. BUT it is NOT guaranteed. 

 

I've also seen author's of these kinds of post continuously deleting the first comment. So the cycle repeats of them potentially getting sales.

 

If you do get a sale out of this, another thing to remember is those people will more than likely not be returning customers, which is what you really NEED. 

 

***Also people who make these kinds of posts tend to copy & paste it into multiple business groups. 

 

Call it finessing. Call it scamming. Up to you.

 

If Pam posts this in 5 business groups and gets atleast 5 people to participate (in hopes of them gaining a sale). Pam has now gotten 5 sales. Say those five people spent $10 each. Pam has now finessed her way into $50 in sales.
