4 Reasons Why People Aren't Buying
Share
#1: No Website
People like the convenience of purchasing at simply a click away. No waiting on someone to respond or get back to them. No meeting up.
I know as a customer, I prefer to do business with those you have a website over those who don't.
#2: Poor Customer Service
We've all experienced poor customer service at some point and time right?
Don't be snappy. Don't be rude. Yes the information is available at hand. Yes customers sometimes ask what we feel are annoying questions... BUT it doesn't mean you have to be rude about it.
Always maintain a certain level of professionalism.
People tend to remember negative experiences more than positive ones. So don't create one.
#3 Your Pricing
Your Pricing should be a combination of competitive, what you feel you're worth and match the quality of the product.
No one wants to spend $70 for a pair of faux fur slides and then turn around and pay $10 shipping. It's simply no realistic to sell that product for $80, when someone sells them for less than $40.
People will feel like you're too high or you're ripping people off. As a result, You will more than likely lose the sale.
#4 Shipping Costs
Speaking of shipping costs. In my own experience people will abandon their cart SO quickly, if shipping is to expensive.
It doesn't matter if you make the product $5 and shipping if $10 or the product is $50 and the shipping is $8. They don't want to spend an unreasonable price on shipping.
